2nd International Medical and Health Tourism Fair

Medistate Kavacık Hospital took its place at the 2nd International Medical and Health Tourism Fair. The fair began in the city of Oran (Wahran) in Algeria and was attended by six countries, including Turkey. Medistate Kavacık Hospital represented the strength of the Turkish healthcare sector by opening a booth at this important event.

Esil Cilt, the Director of International Patient Services at Medistate Kavacık Hospital, stated in her interview with AA news agency during the fair that they had noticed the increasing demand for healthcare tourism from Algeria to Turkey in recent years. She emphasized their participation in this fair to assess patients’ specific needs and requests on-site.

Esil Cilt mentioned that patients coming from Algeria generally prefer Turkey for the treatment of complex health issues such as bone marrow transplantation, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, brain tumors, epilepsy, orthopedic problems, and oncological cases. She also highlighted that Turkey has become a global brand in health tourism.

She concluded by stating that Medistate Kavacık Hospital remains committed to providing the best healthcare services to international patients and aims to assist even more patients through this fair.
